The Good Friends will be joining the Seekers as well at the end of May. It sounds like a lot of fun for our adult classes, getting together this summer! You’ll find them in the library. Come and join them! Pastor Rachel has been holding a special confirmation class for Monica Harden, our confirmand for 2008. With her family present, Monica joined the church on Pentecost Sunday, May 11, 2008. Surely the Holy Spirit was with her and with us that day. She is part of our awesome God’s Kids Youth Class and Dance Troupe! Congratulations, Monica! Watch for important news about Vacation Bible School! It’s time to be thinking of a fall ALPHA course! If you would like to serve on an ALPHA team please contact Bea Ball. We will be re-organizing our teams and there is a need for a Spirit-filled staff as we reach out to our community with our witness to MAKE DISCIPLES FOR CHRIST. The Good Friends Sunday Morning Study Group is in the process of creating a small portable library featuring Christian books, tapes, CDs and DVDs that may be borrowed for limited periods of time. You will be able to visit the library on Sunday mornings in the Fellowship Hall. More details will be available as they are worked out.
